Process Improvement: At KIHOMAC we pride ourselves on the ability to tailor our processes to meet the needs of individual government customers while adhering to our formal quality assurance standards.  With an employee base consisting mainly of retired government employees and armed service veterans, we understand the importance of oversight and feedback on the process improvement cycle shown below.

Philosophy: We believe that frequent and effective human interactions are quality assurance, and we formalize this philosophy in the following four personnel requirements:

  Level 1 - Employees:
As is expected by all those entrusted with national security and government responsibilities, KIHOMAC maintains strict standards of personal accountability for all its employees.  We excel.

  Level 2 - Supervisors
Our supervisors are constantly engaged with their personnel and provide detailed feedback about employee products.  We review.

  Level 3 - Customers:
The inherently iterative quality of any systems engineering endeavor means that customer guidance is essential to providing program direction.  We listen.

  Level 4 - Managers:
The Contract Manager is the final link between KIHOMAC and its customers and controls the resources necessary to handle program complexity. The Quality Control Manager provides corporate level oversight by ensuring methodical adherence to formal quality assurance protocols. We support.

The diagram below illustrates the typical interactions among the four responsibility levels throughout any given program cycle.

Training: KIHOMAC is extensively familiar with government, military, and industry operations and standards, but the rapid pace of technological innovation, especially in IT infrastructure, is the reason we maintain a formal training infrastructure to supply our employees with the right information at the right time.

Security: The importance of information and operational security in the DoD environment cannot be overemphasized, and our industrial facility security program remains at the forefront of our operation.  Our Facility Security Officer (FSO) and all levels of management, including the President, provide the necessary oversight to ensure that security procedures are fully enforced throughout the entire company.  All employees are formally trained on government security practices and their respective roles in the protection of classified material.  Local background checks and Non-Disclosure Agreements (SF 312) are standard parts of the hiring process for every KIHOMAC employee.  Periodic security training as part of our Standard Security Plan ensures our employees remain up to date with the most current security requirements.

On-Site Access: Many of our employees work on-site at DoD installations nationwide and are often entrusted with access to government facilities, including the knowledge of lock combinations, the holding of keys, and the usage of equipment.  Formal training on government procedures for access creation, access guidelines, and access surrender is standard practice for our on-site employees.  Our property managment system allows each site manager to tag and track high value and government owned property as part of the formal inventory maintained by the Property Manager.
